Update: Chris Hayward totally beat me to this blog but I missed it, check out his blog here. Great blog to follow.
When you put a users account into Teams Only mode, they can only schedule Teams meetings from Outlook:
This is the expected behaviour and should be fine, but there is a little workaround if for some reason you needed to Schedule a SfB meeting. Skype for Business Online Web Scheduler is still accessible to Teams Only users. Skype for Business Web Scheduler was designed primarily for the niche use case of users not having Outlook/Exchange and still wanting to Schedule SfB meetings. Note it will not email an invite, just create the meeting and offer the meeting join details up for you to paste into an email or calendar appointment.
I can’t think of a typical user reason to want to do this, anyone running SfB but invited to a Teams meeting can still join a Teams meeting via the browser, but maybe a customer you want to join a meeting has completely locked down to SfB only.
- Go to the Office 365 Web Scheduler address at https://sched.lync.com and try signing in with your work or school account.
- Enter the meeting details
Press save, and the join details will be presented for you to copy
