Microsoft to increase Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plan prices in March 2022

image

In a blog today Microsoft announced some coming price increases for Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plans

  • Office 365 E1 from $8 to $10 per user per month
  • Office 365 E3 from $20 to $23 per user per month
  • Office 365 E5 from $35 to $38 per user per month
  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic from $5 to $6 per user per month
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium from $20 to $22 per user per month
  • Microsoft 365 E3 from $32 to $36 per user per month

Other plans are unaffected. No change to Microsoft 365 E5, the F Firstline worker plans or the Education plans.

Maybe to sweeten the price increase pill, Microsoft is adding unlimited Microsoft Teams Meeting PSTN dial-in to enterprise, business, frontline, and government licences, which is currently $4 Per User Per Month list, so more than or the same as the current price increases. More details on that here
