After the general availability of France in December 2016, Microsoft has now added Spain to Microsoft PSTN Calling. Giving the ability to assign users (and service numbers, like Organisational Auto Attendants) in Cloud PBX real PSTN phone numbers from Microsoft directly in the Office 365 Cloud with no local infrastructure.
Microsoft is showing its continuous incremental progress towards a more global PSTN service deeply integrated with Office 365.

Very nice post thanks Tom I appreciate it!
Thanks Peter, hope all is good with you.
Tom
Thanks for the update Tom.
Request your advice on one of the query bugging me since quite some time.
Our SfB on premise FE pool is in UK and there is a larger SfB FE pool in USA. We have moved all our Mailbox’s to office 365 and the tenant is in USA.
In UK we have not yet deployed Enterprise Voice but want to move to Cloud PBX directly. When we plan to move skype users to online from UK, does it mean our account moves physically to US tenant or does it move to a datacenter in UK.
I meant , can a single tenant Multinational organization have telephone numbers on cloud PBX distributed across different geographies?

Yes, a single tenant can have PSTN calling from multiple counties. For example we have a US tenant with UK and US PSTN calling numbers. You will need a “contract” with msft in each country I believe.
thanks
