This update will be rolling this out to Teams phone in mid-April 2020, It will be completed by early May. It adds the following features:
- Redesigned calls app user interface with favourites (speed dial)
- Custom ringtones
- Managing delegates
- Support auto-dial for extension dialing
- Device management updates to support device categorization in Teams Admin Center
This updates the Teams application, Company Portal application, and Device Management agent. It includes bug fixes to the Teams application and the Company Portal application.
The last update was February 2020, Teams app version: 1449/1.0.94.2020020601, which brought us
- Support for dynamic emergency calling on the phone lock screen
- Hot desk feature bug fixes to address network outage scenarios
- Sign in improvements
- Device management bug fixes to address firmware version reporting
- Bug fixes to the Teams application
So is this both a teams and a phone firmware update? Have to have both in order for it to function? We’re currently running polycom CCX500’s and this is what we have been waiting for.

Appears that Teams app version: 1449/1.0.94.2020031901 is available per https://support.office.com/en-us/article/what-s-new-in-microsoft-teams-d7092a6d-c896-424c-b362-a472d5f105de#PickTab=Desk_phones. Have you been able to update your CCX 500 to that version? I have not been able to figure it out and device is currently running Version: 1449/1.0.94.2019110802.
