Office Insider and O365 First Release Programs, Test New Builds and Features

Following the success of the Windows Insider Program, Microsoft Office team are following the same track with an on-going program for consumer Office subscribers (Office 365 Home, Personal, and University subscribers).

Once installed, you will automatically get the latest builds, and can give your feedback directly to Microsoft.

 

The Office Insider program is aimed mainly at consumers and focused on Office client features. O365 Business or Pro-Plus users (including E3), can get the equivalent experience with O365 First Release program and getting the same early access to office features, but also new Office 365 Service features. You can enrol in the program on your admin portal:

Sign in to Office 365 with your work or school account.

Go to the Office 365 admin center.

Go to Service settings > Updates.

To enable first release choose Entire organization or Select people.
