Oracle and TE-SYSTEMS anynode on track to be certified for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing

Microsoft Direct Routing became generally available at the end of June. It allows you, or your favourite service provider, to deploy a certified Session Border Controller and connect any telephony carrier (SIP Provider) or to connect and interoperate with your existing enterprise phone system.

AudioCodes and Ribbon are the currently certified Session Border Controllers if you want to host and manage your on on-premises. Thinktel is also certified, but it’s a carrier system, not one for enterprises.

Now it looks like Oracle (the Acme Packet acquisition devices) and TE-SYSTEMS anynode, a pure software SBC, will be certified by the end of the year, providing customers with new options to connect to Microsoft Teams for user telephony.

It’s good to see more vendors coming through the certification process.
