Microsoft Teams Rooms on Surface Hub Public Preview

This is the new Microsoft Teams experience for Surface Hub, now rolling out in preview with some big improvements to Teams on Surface Hub.

Some new features for the Surface Hub Teams experience

  • Automatic full screen on join
  • Reactions
  • Large Gallery View
  • Together mode
  • Chat bubbles
  • Share applications (not just full screen)
  • Share system audio into the meeting
  • Support for Teams and another app side by side, or any other proportion of the screen between teams and another app
  • Preview of the meeting when full screen on another app
  • Allow remote participants control of the hub with give control
  • See full meeting roster and easily add people, raised hand, admit from the lobby
  • Coming later, Whiteboard in the meeting, each meeting invite will have a whiteboard link

This is rolling out via the Windows Insider Program for Surface Hub generation 1 and 2S Devices
