Upcoming UK Skype for Business and Microsoft Cloud Events

Just a quick note to let you know about some upcoming events, hope to see you there!

Microsoft UC User Group London July 6th 2016: Skype for Business Cloud PBX UK PSTN Calling Hands On and Global SIP Trunking Success

The sun is shining (mostly) and it’s time for the summer instalment of Microsoft UC User Group London. There is plenty to talk about this time around, Microsoft PSTN Calling (Microsoft as a PSTN carrier) will be generally available in the UK in July, so we’ll spend some time going over exactly how this works, the licencing/costs and even a live demo of how to set it up!

We’re then going to dive a bit further into the carrier space, talking about SIP trunking at a global scale. We’ll be starting with the easy stuff, but then diving into the complex stuff like providing global services and considering more challenging locations like India and the UAE. Also how do you can connect SIP Trunking to both SfB Server and SfB Online Cloud PBX.

There has been a lot of news and updates since the last user group, so we’ll take some time to go over the latest.

We’ll then wrap up for the usual for beers around 8pm. Hope to see you there.

In this technical session, Ed Baker will present and demonstrate some of the features that make Azure Active Directory the backbone of Microsoft’s identity model. The ability to create a hybrid identity model and to take advantage of all the security Microsoft has to secure your identity and access management.

In this session I am to delve into what the Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) of products is and how this can benefit your organisation from Azure AD Premium features to Mobile Device Management, Mobile Application Management and Azure Rights Management.

Still using a traditional phone system? Come to this session to understand how Cloud PBX with PSTN calling works in the UK including: calling plans, porting your own numbers, certified devices and service agreements.
