My blog post giving an early look at the net UX1000 got a lot of interest, so I thought people might be interested in some more on the net 1000. The unit is now GA, and I had a chance to play with another unit today. This post is a brief look at what is actually inside the net UX1000.
Front of the net UX1000
Front without facia
Screw holes for rack mount kit (included)
Rear, combinations of ports will vary depending on your setup:
• Up to 2 T1/E1 CAS (Channel Associated Signaling)/PRI (Primary Rate Interface) digital voice/TDM ports
• Up to 8 BRI (Basic Rate Interface) digital voice/TDM ports
• Up to 24 FXS (Foreign eXchange Station) analog ports
• Up to 24 globally compliant FXO (Foreign eXchange Office) analog port
Inside
The FXS/FXO/BRI modules are ‘stackable’ bottom one plugs into the gateway mainboard, the top one plugs into the bottom one
The SBA module has a connection directly to the Gateway mainboard. This allows a single web interface to manage both the gateway an SBA as a single unit.
ASM heat sink
DSP daughter boards
My next blog post will be on how to setup the net UX1000 and SBA for Lync, please subscribe to the RSS or email updates to be notified of the next posts.

You can plug an Ethernet cable into LAN port 2. Have a pc configured to a static ip (192.168.129.xxx) range. Open up a web browser and point it to (192.168.129.2) then configure your unit through the web ui.
Hi¡ Do you still have this Gateway? Is any chance you can send me a pic of an specific part of the mainboard? This is cause i need to fix one equipment , out of warranty.
